Sewell Mining

Information about the Sewell Mining

Sewell Mining

Sewell Mining is a mining company founded in 2015 that began operations in Vihtijärvi with mining takeovers. Initially, the operations were very basic, and most of the mining work was done by hand. Sewell Mining was listed on the stock exchange in 2018, after which its value multiplied in a short time. However, traditional mining was found to eventually bring very little money to the table, causing Sewell Mining to quickly run into financial difficulties. In 2020, Sewell Mining managed to restructure its business, as a result of which the company's profit turned to positive again. However, several analysts were left to consider background in the business reforms as well as their impact and Sewell Mining's ethical choices in making these reforms.

In 2021, Sewell Mining purchased data from Hölböcorp on mineral deposits, which in the wake of new mining deposits moved the company's Finnish business little bit further north to Pirkanmaa area.

In central Finland/Pirkanmaa, however, Sewell Mining faced stiff competition from a fast-growing Nordic company called Polaris Energy. In the wake of the second Finnish Civil War, the Finnish state was very fragmented, and the authorities were not able to help Sewell Mining. This prompted Sewell Mining to set up a supportive security forces that mimic the style of international armed forces.
